Description:
A quick-change catheter with a noncompliant (unyielding) high-pressure balloon is designed primarily to post-dilate an implanted stent in the event of its malopposition.
The highest in the NC class, the nominal pressure of 14 ATM provides an efficient post-dilution at the most rigid, calcified plaques. The increase in the balloon diameter by only 3% and the absence of longitudinal extension in the range between the nominal pressure (14 ATM) and the design burst pressure (20 ATM) make this balloon catheter as safe as possible.
For convenience and safety, the Lacrosse Powered 2 balloon catheter is manufactured in 0.25 mm increments in diameter. This tool can also be used for pre-dilution, especially in the case of ineffectiveness of seven-complied catheters with a lower nominal pressure.
