Description:
The DIO system is a unique tool consisting of 2 catheters. The external catheter type OTW has a channel width of 1.5 mm (4.5 Fr) for stenting and aspiration of thrombi. The internal obturator catheter protects the working channel, has a port for the coronary conductor and an elongated tip of the elastic polymer, ensuring the passage of complex anatomy and previously implanted stents.
The DIO system is used as an extension of the guide catheter in the event that additional support is required for the delivery of balloon catheters, stents, etc., when anatomical features interfere with direct instrumentation, the presence of stents proximal to the affected area or other obstructions. The DIO system can also be used to aspirate a thrombus before stent implantation (see video).
The kit includes accessories - a 30 ml syringe with a VacLock system (2 pcs.), An extension tube with a stopcock, a flushing needle, a mesh filter for trapping clots (2 pcs.), A T-shaped (shortened) and a Y-shaped ) hemostatic valves.
